Spend a weekend in the Mountains...

Unicoi Outfitters Casting Clinic to be held on Saturday, March 29, 2003 -- FREE !

AFFC members have a great opportunity:

Jimmy Harris and his staff at Unicoi Outfitters in Helen, Georgia, www.unicoioutfitters.com have offered to conduct a casting clinic in Helen on Saturday, March 29, 2003 for AFFC members at no-charge.

This will be open to the first 12 to 15 AFFC members that sign up. Sign up will be done by responding back to Doug Robinson by email. Include phone number and skill level as noted below.

They are planning to start the casting clinic around 10:00 AM and will go until noon then break for lunch. Bring your own lunch or you can run up in Helen for fast food etc.. They will start back up at
1:00 PM and end it around 3:00 PM.

They can customize the clinic based our your responses or gear it toward an intermediate casting clinic. Please take this opportunity!!!

Likewise, you may want to take the opportunity to schedule a 1/2 or full day of fishing with Unicoi Outfitters or a number of our other sponsor guides for Sunday, see www.atlantaflyfishingclub.org.

Sign-up...

I need you to Email me if you wish to be put on the sign up list. Sign up ASAP as there will be limited space.

In your email to me, please rate your casting skill as Beginner, Intermediate or Experienced so that we have a feel for the make up of the class.

I will also need your phone number and Email to add to the list. I will compile the list and issue it to the group to help with car pooling etc. Likewise, with the sign up list, I will issue a memo with the location for the clinic (should be on the field near their shop).

Don't hesitate or you might miss out on a great opportunity. I will not be able to attend the clinic so Sam Crampton has agreed to be there in my place and to participate. I will be the primary contact for the coordination of this outing. Thank you Sam.
