Destination: Southwest Fla. Ft. Myers/Pine Island area

Target Fish: Snook, redfish, speckled trout and also prime tarpon season

Trip dates: May 19-23, 2005 (travel days are Thurs. May 19 and Mon. May 23 with 3 days of fishing in between)

Matlacha is a tiny, island community located along bridge headed to Pine Island, Fl. We plan on a group of approx. 10 anglers for this initial trip. Bring or rent kayaks/canoes for great inshore fishing. Also guided fishing with Capt. Bowdish (www.barflyfish.com) for $400 day for two anglers. Kayak guide is $150/day flat rate for as many as want to fish. (Groups of 3-4 would be best for individual attention.)
