Atlanta Fly Fishing Club Contributions
AFFC supports the following organizations who contribute to the health and welfare of the Chattahoochee River -- our home waters. These organizations help to either defend the river and it's watershed from polluters, destruction, or encroachment; help protect it's waters as a healthy coldwater fishery; and, help educate the public about the value of the 'Hooch as a resource to the community for a variety of recreational uses including fly fishing.

In particular, the Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper and the Chattahoochee
Coldwater Fishery Foundation annually receive monetary support from the Atlanta Fly Fishing Club. These organizations contribute to AFFC's and FFF's mission of Conserving - Restoring - Educating through Fly Fishing.  Each organization in their own way contributes toward the goals of Conserving - Restoring - Educating and therefore, deserve our support. We are proud to be able to assist these organizations through the cooperation and generous contribuions of our club members.

To learn more about each organization, click on the graphics below. All of the fishable water below Buford Dam lies within the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. They do an outstanding job of managing the fishable area that we all call "the 'Hooch".
